The role of art in space-making

Typically, the very last consideration that a designer or a homeowner will make when working with a space is a work of art to adorn the walls.

When a client is a collector, a piece will be chosen from their collection or will be shopped for specifically for the project.

In any event, a piece of art will be chosen last for practical considerations - to complement other design choices made in the prior project phases - selection of materials and finishes, colours, furnishings and accessories.

Practically it’s the right move.
